Editing and writing are my passion. I have been doing both in some form or another for most of my life, and it gives me pleasure to help others perfect their masterpieces. I’m currently shopping for an agent to represent the first book in a historical fiction trilogy I’m writing, which I had edited by a freelance editor, so I know how valuable a pair of fresh, professional eyes can be on a manuscript you’ve read dozens of times.

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from The Ohio State University (Go Bucks!) and an Associate of Science from Columbus State Community College, both of which help give me a well-rounded view of most subjects and styles of scholastic writing.

In the past, I have worked as an editorial assistant/freelance editor for a small publishing house in Ohio, as a reporter/photographer/copyeditor for a newspaper, and as an executive secretary for the president of an engineering/manufacturing company, where I handled all forms of business writing and editing.

I’m also involved in several online critique groups, through which I have dealt with most styles and genres of writing.
